Dear Editor,

As a resident of Russell Drive in Chandler, I have a safety concern with the increase of traffic, due to the new construction, on our street. All of the current home owners on our street have either children or grandchildren that play in our front yards and/or in the neighborhood. I spoke with Mr. Jim Moffeit, city administrator, and inquired about having signs posted on our street that remind drivers to slow down and be cautious. Less than one week after speaking with Mr. Moffeit, multiple signs of this type have been posted. I appreciate him in not only addressing this concern, but also by performing in such a timely manner. I am glad that the safety and wellbeing of the smallest residentsof Chandler are important to him.
