Alice Juanita Reagan

Services for Alice Juanita Reagan, 89, Chandler were held Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Chandler with Dr. Stan Copeland, Rev. Sam Boyd, and Dr. Russ Munch officiating.

Burial will be in Chandler Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler. Mrs. Reagan died January 27, 2008 at Hospice of East Texas. She was born March 19, 1918 in Chandler to the late Corbett and Alice Ellis. She owned and operated Juanita's Beauty Shop for fifty years. After retiring she became an avid quilter. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church in Chandler, member of the Chancel Choir and a volunteer for Meals On Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Corbett and Alice Ellis and brother, George Ellis.

Survivors include her husband of seventy-two years, Judge Winston Reagan; daughter Martha and husband Don Copeland of Chandler, daughter Dr. Alice and her husband Dr. Roy D. Wilson of Ben Wheeler; sisters, Gerry Ellis and Marita Boyd; grandchildren, Dr. Stan Copeland and wife Tammy, Jill McGill and husband Kyle, Charla Murray and her husband Andy, Abby Meyer and her husband Charlie; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Copeland, Megan and Morgan McGill and Madeline Grace Meyer.

Pallbearers were Kyle McGill, Zachary Copeland, Charlie Meyer, Andy Murray, Coy Ellis, and Reuben Corbett Ellis.
