Monk, Arnold announce engagement

Mr. David Monk and Ms. Marilyn Monk of Chandler are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Allyson Diane, to Brian Joseph Arnold, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miles of Chatfield, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Arnold of Magnolia, Texas.

The bride-elect attended All Saints Episcopal School, Trinity Valley Community College, and UT Tyler. She is the owner of Allyson's Apparel Store.

The future groom attended Red Oak High School, Trinity Valley Community College, and Hill County Junior College, Hillsboro, Texas. He is employed by the City of Mexia as a fireman.

The wedding is scheduled for June 21, 2008, 6:00 p.m. at the Leagueville Baptist Church, Leagueville, Texas. Reception will follow at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center.
