Chandler Nursing Ctr.
by Gretta Uzzell

Change is in the air here at our facility! A good change, that is!

What is the saying, "You are never too old for change"? We are planning a special fish lunch for those wonderful Lions Club members on the 22nd. We appreciate them so much for everything that they do!

Our family council meeting is planned for the 18th at 6:00 p.m., and we encourage all of our family members to join us and get to know our council members, which are, Mary Gray, Jo Anne Neisler, and Ron and Barbara Cawthon. We appreciate them very much for taking responsibility for their positions. We will be having special guests from Trinity Valley Home Health, to go over the benefits of home health care.

We are looking for a really special person or persons who would be interested in making some window boxes for our residents, to be placed in the windows in the Activity Room for those who want to do some planting this year. If you are that special someone, please give us a call at 903-849- 2485.

We are voting for our "Sweetheart of the Chandler Nursing Center." We will have that special picture for you to see next week.

Thank you so much to the Grices; they were here on the 3rd of this month and they will be back on the 17th. We appreciate them very much.

You know, there are some people that just naturally touch lives as they go through their day. And you're not really sure if they plan that way or not. It seems as natural as breathing to them. That special person for our center is Pastor Tommy Weems. Our residents are sending a huge thank you to this precious man, who is more than happy to pass on a smile, handshake or a hug where it is needed. Pastor Tommy, this is to you from your family at the Chandler Nursing Center.
