Faith Baptist Chandler Our worship services continue to be inspiring with challenging sermons and good singing. The sanctuary is almost filled to capacity each Sunday, and we always welcome the many guests in our services. Justin Todd Herod performed in a concert Sunday night. In addition, several members from Faith Baptist also blessed us with great music. Providing special music were Jay and Bryan Hollifield, Wayne and Debbie Duke, Olga Little, Nelson Icenhower, David Darst and Brian Penny, along with our guitarist and drummer, and the youth band from Immanuel Baptist Church in Palestine. A movie, "Me and You, Us, Forever," will be shown February 15 at the church. Sunday, February 17 has been designated as Children's Ministry Day. The children will be hosting a "Soup Kitchen" immediately following the morning service. Everyone is invited and all donations will go toward the food pantry. Children's Ministry Day will be recognized nationwide Feb- ruary 16. This is a day set aside for children to become involved in serving others and the community. The emphasis is on hunger. Hunger is not a foreign problem; hunger affects all communities, including Chandler. The Wednesday night Children's Outreach, boys and girls preschool through 6th grade are helping get the food pantry off to a good start. The kids need your help. The following items are needed for the pantry: body wash/soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste/ toothbrushes, Q-tips, baby wipes, diapers, feminine hygiene products.
