Wilson, Royal unite in marriage

Mr. & Mrs. Chad Wilson

Lacie Royal of Seagoville, Texas, and Chad Wilson of Murchison, Texas, were united in marriage Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 2:35 in the afternoon at Creek Crossing Assembly of God Church, Mesquite, Texas. Marty Thomas officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Dale and Tammy Royal of Seagoville. She graduated Calvary Temple Christian Academy in Mesquite, Texas. She has been employed by City Credit Union in Mesquite as a Senior Teller.

The groom's parents are Marshall Wilson and Rachelle Wilson of Brownsboro. He graduated Brownsboro High School and is employed as Editor of The Statesman.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Dale Royal.

The bride's colors were pink and green. The church was decorated with icicle lights and candles. The center stage had a heart-shaped arch with greenery and lights.

Pianist, who was the bride's cousin, played the wedding march. The bride's youngest sister sang while the unity candle was being lighted.

The bride chose a white gown with a short train, embellished with tiny crystals. Her headpiece was a tiara and her bouquet was an arrangement of pink roses and greenery.

Maid of honor was Hollie Royal, Seagoville, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Charitie Royal, sister of the bride, Cecila Tusing, friend of the couple, and Brittany Wilson, sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Camryn Caceras, Mesquite, friend of the family.

Ringbearer was Eli Ridgle of Murchison.

Best man was Dustin Wilson, brother of the groom.

Groomsmen included Cary Whitlock, cousin of the groom, Aaron Orsak, groom's friend, and Anthony Tusing, friend of the couple.

Serving as ushers were Justin Kuykendall of Mesquite, brother-in-law of the bride, and William Oliver, groom's friend.

In charge of the guest register was Tammy Stephens, Mesquite.

A reception was held following the ceremony, at the church.

After a wedding trip to St. Petersburg, Florida, the couple resides in Murchison, Texas.
