William Neal Fowler

Funeral services for William Neal Fowler, 85, Chandler, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Chandler First Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Sexton officiating, under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors. Burial was in Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mr. Fowler died February 16, 2008 at Hospice HomePlace. He was born December 24, 1922 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late John and Nettie Fowler. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a self-employed rancher.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ruth Fowler.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Fowler, Chandler; daughters, Peggy Redding of Flower Mound, Barbara Keel of Longview, Cathy Reding of Lewisville, and Susan Earl of Chandler; brother, J.B. Fowler of Landrum, South Carolina; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
