What's Happening

The Meet and Greet for Henderson County Sheriff Tony Allison that was scheduled for today at 5 PM has been canceled. Mr. Allison was required to attend an urgent meeting.

Mass in Spanish at St. Boniface at 12:30 on Sundays.

The 7th and 8th Grade Senior All Star Team Try Outs will be on Thurs., Feb. 28 at 3:30 at the Junior High Gym. Anyone interested in trying out please attend.

Young Farmers meet Mon., March 3 at 6:30 PM in the BHS Vocational Building. Will be planning for the Henderson County Livestock Show.

Larue and Moore Station AARP#5345 will meet Tues., March 4 at Antioch Baptist Church in the Cafeteria. Board of Directors will meet at 5:30 PM and the regular meeting starts at 6 PM. Anyone 50+ is encouraged to attend.

Murchison Methodist women will be sponsoring their annual spring auction and spaghetti supper at 6 PM on Fri., March 7 at the First United Methodist Church in Murchison. Proceeds will go towards improvement projects at the church, continuing the ministry to shut-ins and assist with the food ministry at the Ark at TVCC. For additional info., phone (903)469- 3870.

MOPS will meet from 9:30- 11:30 AM at 1st Assembly in Chandler on the following dates: March 11&25, April 8&22, and May 13. We are out for summer.

Brownsboro Junior High School Cheer Try-Outs will be March 14 at 3:30. Applications are in the office at BJH, Brownsboro Inter., and Chandler Inter. Practices for the March 15 and 16 performances of the Passion Play are being held Mon. and Thurs. evenings (6:30) at St. Boniface. Several area churches are participating. Calling all Softball girls- This is the last week to reg. for the spring softball season. The deadline is March 1. All forms must be postmarked by March 1 to ensure your child will be drafted onto a team. Coaches meeting scheduled for all interested in coaching a girl's softball team this year. This is a mandatory meeting scheduled for Sun., March 2 at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church youth room. (enter through the chain link fence area with basketball goals) Details about rule changes, #of teams and the draft will be discussed. Athens Grief Workshop. Bereaved persons meet in small confidential group for 6 consecutive Wednesdays from 2-3:30 PM starting March5-April 9.
