Brownsboro claims first place at golf meet

Playing in just their second tournament of the year the Brownsboro boys golf team captured first place in the Eustace Tournament on Monday.

Drew Pirtle led the Bears to the win as he shot a 76 overall. Pirtle also claim the individual first place award.

Andrew Pollard claimed second place overall with a score of 77.

Other Bears participating in the event were Zach Yowell (87), Cody Bratton (89) and Mikey Grace (98).

In their first tournament of the season in Bullard at Oak Hurst the boys combined to shoot a 335.

The Brownsboro girls also competed in the Eustace Tournament. Amye Scarborough led the Bearettes with a score of 112. Other Bearettes at the meet were Shelby Holt (118), Kaycee Wood (122), Paige Penny (124) and Holly Hargrave (122).

Brownsboro is scheduled to compete in the Lindale Tournament on March 3.
