What's Happening

Murchison Methodist women will be sponsoring their annual spring auction and spaghetti supper at 6 PM on Fri., March 7 at the First United Methodist Church in Murchison. Proceeds will go towards improvement projects at the church, continuing the ministry to shut-ins and assist with the food ministry at the Ark at TVCC. For additional info., phone (903)469-3870.

MOPS will be having thier CPR Refresher class (no cards will be given out) on Tuesday, March 11 at 6:30 at 1st Assembly in Chandler. The cost is $10 and childcare will be provided. Call Jennifer Garner for more info. at (903)849-3180.

MOPS will meet from 9:30- 11:30 AM at 1st Assembly in Chandler on the following dates: March 11&25, April 8&22, and May 13. We are out for summer.

Brownsboro Junior High School Cheer Try-Outs will be March 14 at 3:30. Applications are in the office at BJH, Brownsboro Inter., and Chandler Inter. There will be a Cheer Clinic on March 7 from 4-7 PM for grades 6 and 7. This is open to anyone interested in trying out. The cost will be $10. Contact Felicia Mosley at (903)852-6931 ext. 4018.

Eggstravaganza 2008, March 16 at 4 PM at Murchison Baseball Field. This event is hosted by Hope Community Church. There will be an egg hunt, free food, games, puppets, stories, and lots of fun. For more info. call (903)469-3559.

St. Boniface Catholic Church, presents "Jesus the Liberator " March 15 and 16 at 7:30 PM. Located 1/4 mile South of Hwy. 31 on FM 315. Play is FREE for all to see. A community coming together for the cause of one, to bring an outdoor presentation of the passion of Christ.

The WMA Ladies of Opelika Missionary Baptist Church will host their Spring Bake Sale and Bazaar on March 22 starting at 9 AM. There will be all kinds of baked goods as well as crafts. There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt for the children at 10 AM, followed by refreshements. The community is invited to attend!

Edom Community Sunrise Service. Flatwood Assembly of God will be the host for the Annual Edom Community Easter Sunrise Service on March 23rd at 7 AM. Rev. Mike Kirpatrick will be the speaker. Refreshments will be served following the service. Everyone is cordially invited. Flatwood is located between Edom and Ben Wheeler on FM 279.
