Warren, Bradley top All-District list

Tristian Warren and Sabrina Bradley each earned a Superlative award as the District 14-3A All-District teams were announced late last week.

Warren, a junior, earned Defensive Player of the Year for the Bears. Bradley earned Newcomer of the Year as a junior.

During the regular season Warren recorded 186 total rebounds. He blocked 36 shots and recorded 69 steals.

Earning a spot on the girls first team was Brownsboro's Chelsea Chimney, while the Bearettes' Monica Redfearn earned a spot on the second team.

For the Bears, Ryan Smith earned a spot on the first team while Kyle Price earned a spot on the second team.

Smith led the Bears in scoring on the season with 316 points including playoff action.

Andrew Adair, Joe Denney and Zack Bailey earned a spot on the honorable mention team. Bailey is a sophomore this year while Denney and Adair are seniors.

Superlative honors went to the following ladies in District 14-3A:
MVP: Danielle Heithoff of Bullard
Offensive MVP: Alex Furr of Athens
Defensive MVP: Staci Hankins of Athens
Coach of the Year: Greg Bradley of Bullard
Mens Superlative honors went to:
MVP: Aric Stroop of Van
Offensive MVPs: Lance Anding of Bullard and Jermie
Calhoun of Van
Newcomer of the Year: Nick Monmouth of Athens
Coach of the Year: Ryan Tomlin of Bullard
