Leagueville Baptist
by Church staff

This Sunday morning's message was titled, "How Come Everyone Else is Not Like Me?" Bro. Tom always brings powerful messages each Sunday and this was no different. We had lots of visitors this Sunday morning and we hope that you felt welcome. We are so glad you came and hope to see you back again. LBC is a great place to be!

We have several activities approaching these next few weeks. First, the Goodtimers will be having a fellowship tonight, March 20th at 6:30pm. They will have finger foods and be playing dominoes. They will meet in the gymnasium.

Our Young People will be going to Six Flags on Saturday, March 22nd. They are leaving the church at 8am and will be returning late Saturday night. Be sure to bring your sunscreen! We have lots going and we know they will have a super time. Also on Saturday, our young children will be having an Easter Egg Hunt. This is for children up through 6th grade.

Please bring a basket, 12 eggs per child, and a snack to share. We will meet at the church at 9:30am and the hunt will take place at the W.D. Lewis property.

Following the hunt, we will be having snacks and drinks at the home of Andy and Michelle Wood. Bring your lawn chair and plan to join in the fun. We absolutely would love to have visitors!

We will be celebrating Easter at church Sunday morning, March 23rd and we hope to see you there. The Easter service is always a special one at Leagueville. On Sunday night we will be having our 4th Sunday Singing. We had such a good service last 4th Sunday and I know this one will be just as much a blessing. Bring your specials to share.

We will be having our 5th Sunday lunch on Sunday, March 30th following the morning services. We will have an afternoon service following lunch. We will not be having evening services on the 30th. We invite you to stay and enjoy our cooking. Leagueville women are the best cooks around.

We have many people going to the Rangers' game on Saturday, April 12th. We will be attending a Third Day concert and then the baseball game. Please watch for details on departure times coming soon.

Have a great week and a wonderful Easter.
