Albert Mueller Private services are to be held for Albert Mueller, 87, of Chandler under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Mueller was born April 15, 1920 in Dallas, Texas and passed away March 13, 2008 in Chandler. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1946, and worked at Van Camp Hardware and Iron for 20 years. While in high school he served in the R.O.T.C. Crack Company at Forest Avenue High School in Dallas, Texas. After graduation he went to work at North American Aviation Company, building AT-6's. He continued his education well into his 60s, taking a wide variety of art classes at Tyler Junior College. He also volunteered many years as a docent for the Indianapolis Zoo. There he made life-size jigsaw puzzles of animals for the kids to learn and play with. Mr. Mueller is survived by four sons, Todd, Michael, Brad and Matthew Mueller; and six grandchildren. |
