Crafters to attend quilt show

Crafters will spend the day dining out, "flower gawking" and attending the Azalea Quilt Show in Tyler on Friday, March 28. They plan to meet at the Ben Wheeler Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, leave for Tyler, lunch at Applebee's, tour the Azalea Trail and spend the afternoon at the Quilt Show at Harvey Hall. Everyone is invited.

The Scrap Booking session with Ginger, regularly scheduled for Thursday, March 27, is cancelled due to the quilt show trip.

The new meeting schedule seems to be working well: Second Thursday for Quilting and Needle Arts, (903-833- 5329, Nancy); Fourth Thursday for Scrap Booking and General Crafting (903-852- 7775, Ginger). Meeting time begins at 10 a.m. at the Ben Wheeler Methodist Church for both days. Unless otherwise planned, bring a lunch and something to drink.
