Willis Loven

Services for Willis Loven, 81, Brownsboro, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Loyd McCaskill officiating.

Burial was in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Loven died March 21, 2008, in a Tyler hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Grand Saline.

Mr. Loven served in the Army durinig the Korean War, worked in Sales and was a member of Willowbrook Baptist Church of Tyler, and was a Mason. Preceding him in death were his wife, Beth Loven, and son, Bill Loven.

Survivors include sons, James Loven, Tyler, Marty Carter, Dallas, and Glenn Carter, Tupelo, Miss.; daughters, Earlene Tucker, Lebanon, Ind., and Sheri Anderson, Tyler; brothers, Leonard Loven, Copperas Cove, and Floyd Loven, Trinidad; sisters, Frances Fisher, Avis Thompson and Faye Ann Pearson, all of Grand Saline; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
