Scholarship deadlines near

The deadline for graduatng seniors to apply for the Edom Area Community Scholarship is quickly approaching. Applications must be received by the committee by April 15. Students who wish to submit an application should contact their advisors or counselors at their high schools.

Edom has students in both Brownsboro and Van schools. Criteria for residential and scholastic requirements are included in each application packet. For further information, you may contact Carolyn Hargrove, 903-852-3990.

East Texas Piney Woods Cattle Women are once again partnering with Heritage Land Bank of Tyler to offer a $500 scholarship to graduating Texas high school seniors or Texas students enrolled in higher education courses.

It is mandatory that the scholarship winner attend an accredited Texas college or university. Candidate must attend an agricultural related program. Acceptable fields may include, but are not limited to, Foods and Nutrition, Agricultural Communications or Hotel and Restaurant (Institutional) Management.
