Sunday we had another great day at the Lord's House. Bro. Tom preached to us about being average Christians. Do we have a mediocre relationship with Christ? This seems to be a common problem among Christians today. He brought to our attention those people in the Bible that would have seemed to be average but who had such an impact on others at the time.

We were pleased to welcome new members, Bob and Pam Brown, to our church family Sunday morning. We are so glad that God led you to us.

As usual, we have many thngs going on at LBC. We had lots of people for lunch on Sunday following the morning services, and an afternoon service in place of an evening service.

Saturday, April 12th, we will be going to a Third Day concert followed by a Texas Rangers game. We are making plans to leave the church at 2 pm. We will be returning after the baseball game. This has been such a good time for all in the past and I know this will be no different.

Monday evening, April 14th, will be our monthly Ladies Bible study. It will begin at 6 pm in the Women's Center. We want to encourage all of our ladies to attend and invite any ladies from the community, as well. This is always such a sweet time of fellowship and I know you will be blessed. Saturday, April 19th, our Good Timers will be going to Cherokee Trace in Jacksonville. The cost is ten dollars a person and you are asked to bring a sack lunch and drink. They will be leaving at 8:30 am. Please see Candy Schaub if you have any questions.

We wish a happy birthday this week to Margaret O'Harra, Owen Taylor, and W.D. Lewis. Also, we wish happy anniversary to Richard and Bonnie Downs. We hope you have a wonderful week.
