Lake Palestine U.M.C.
by Barbara Cade

We were deeply sorry to hear this week of the passing of member Charles Johnson. He had a long struggle in the hospital. Our prayers are with Sue, his wife, and their family. His memorial service will be on April 5th at 2:00 PM at the church.

We are happy to hear that LeeAnn Boggs is doing better and is out of ICU. We want to see her up and about before very much longer.

Rose Cade has had many ups and downs in her hospital stay. Currently she is fighting some breathing problems. We will pray for her.

Ken Cade was honored this past week with being selected as a delegate to the Texas Democratic Convention to be held in Austin in June. Bob and Carla Fisher's daughter is also a delegate.

Milton Decker had to put out a call for help to load Angel Food boxes on Saturday. I trust he got enough people to help. It's now time to make your box order for April.

Barb Cade took her Honda Campus All-Star team from Texas College to Orlando, Florida. They left last Thursday and returned on Monday.

Dan Newsom is still resting at home. We want him to know we are all praying for him.

Kaethe Griffin hurt her foot again a little while ago. We trust she is doing better.

Rebecca Prather is trying to pull together another newsletter again. If you have any news, please share it with her. If you are too late for this month, it can be used for next month.
