The doctor is in
We envision this column as a question and answer format. This would be similar to the "Dear Dr. Donohue" column in the Tyler Morning Telegraph. You are probably all familiar with this column. In this column, readers write in questions and Dr. Donohue picks out two or three that he thinks many in his audience will find interesting. On March 26, for example, he answered questions about melanoma as well as end of life decision making. The questions can be anything relating to medicine. As family physicians, we have studied many different aspects of medicine. We should be able to give a medically relevant answer, and if we do not know the answer, we can certainly find out. With any luck, and a lot of good editing, we will be able to do so in an entertaining way.
There are three ways to send in questions. You can email to statesman@embarqmail.com. You may also mail to either The Statesman, Attn. Medical Questions, P.O. Box 168, Brownsboro, TX 75756, or to Tom Cherry, M.D., Attn. Medical Questions, P.O. Box 373, Chandler, TX 75758. We look forward to hearing your questions and responding. |
