If you were in our services on Sunday, I am sure that you received a blessing. Bro. Tom preached to us from Hosea 1:2-7. He spoke to us about the prophet and the prostitute. He pointed out that the prophet represented God in relation to us, the prostitute. We, like the prostitute, seem to turn our backs on God and He always is faithful to restore us to fellowship with Him. How forgiving He is!

Sunday evening Bro. John Carlisle and his family were with us. Bro. Carlisle shared with us his burden for the people of Australia. He shared many interesting facts about the country and then preached to us about being stirred for lost souls around our community. His message touched many hearts and encouraged us to look for those around us daily who need to hear of God's saving grace.

Those of us who attended the Ranger's game on Saturday night had a great time! We had around 60 people travel to the Ballpark and enjoy the game. The weather was beautiful and the fellowship was even better. Thanks to Bro. Paul for driving the bus - that's no small job! Although the Rangers lost, the concert was awesome. Third Day really poured their hearts into the concert for the fans in attendance.

The Good-Timers are preparing to leave the church Saturday morning at 8:30 am to go to Cherokee Trace in Jacksonville. Please bring a sack lunch and drink. The cost is $10 per person. The group has invited anyone who would like to attend, young and old. This is a great group of people and we encourage all to go. You will be blessed.

The Men's Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 8am. All men, young and not, are invited to attend. We always have a couple of really young men attend these meetings and they are a special blessing. Dads, we encourage you to bring your sons.

Our yearly preparations are beginning for Church Camp. Our camp will be held June 22-27 and the theme will be "U-Tube." Ms. Angie has an information sheet for those that are interested. Each year Camp touches many lives. We are anticipating another great week. There will be more information to follow soon.

We want to wish a happy birthday to Donnell Crow, Tom Wood, Kelsey Parker, Brooke Parker, Sue Smith, Dana Becton, and Blanche Williams. We extend happy anniversary wishes to C L and Doris Gideon and Jim and Sharon Krueger. We hope you have a wonderful week!
