What's Happening KCB will host a Political Forum Tuesday, April 22, at 6:30 pm. The forum, hosted at the Chandler Community Center, will be a free meet and greet and question/answer session for the six candidates for Chandler City Council. Huge rummage sale at Brownsboro First Assembly at 314 South, behind Kidd Jones off Highway 31. 8 am - 5 pm. Thursday- Saturday, starting April 17. Carwash and Bakesale, First State Bank of Brownsboro. 9 am, Saturday, April 19. Event sponsored by OMBC Relay for Life team. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Call 286-0056 for more details. Family Fun Night, April 26 at 4 pm at the Chandler Community Center. There will be hamburgers and hot dogs at $6 for adults and $3 for children. There will also be a silent auction and a dessert auction, as well as crafts and games. AARP Chapter 1152 of Athens sponsors senior health fair Saturday, April 26 from 9 am to 11 pm at the First United Methodist Church (Activities building) located at 225 Lover's Lane, Athens. Calvary Baptist will hold a prayer breakfast on the second Saturday of each month with Pastor John Parker. Good food and fellowship, come 8 am, May 10. Bread of Life Distribution Food Bank on the third Saturday of each month. 8 am - 12 pm. Any volunteers would be accepted and appreciated. Calvalry Baptist hosts this food bank for public awareness. This is available to a qualified applicant to provide financial assistance and support toward the education/training of a single working mother trying to improve her and her children's future.
