Leagueville Baptist
by Church staff

Bro. Bill Watson led our services this Sunday in the absence of our pastor. Bro. Watson is no stranger to Leagueville and we always enjoy hearing him preach. We ask that you pray for Bro. Watson, as he has surgery this week. We wish him a speedy recovery.

We had lots of visitors this week and we hope that you felt welcome. We are so glad that you came to share the day with us and we hope that you will visit again. It is such a blessing to see new faces in the sanctuary each Sunday.

The Good-Timers had a great time this past Saturday at the Cherokee Trace Village in Jackby We know all that went on the journey had lots of good fun and fellowship. If you are not a part of this group and would like to be, please see Candy or Mike Schaub. They will make sure that you are welcomed into this group.

The Men's Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 8am. All men, young and not, are invited to attend.

We always have a lot of good cooking and good fellowship at the Men's Breakfast. There will be some simple maintenance tasks to be accomplished after the breakfast for those men that are able to stay a few minutes longer.

Dan Hosch will be speaking to us on Sunday, April 27th, in our evening services. He is going to be sharing information about his radio broadcast, "Overcoming Addictions - The Call to Recovery." We encourage you to attend and learn more about this new ministry.

Our yearly preparations are beginning for Church Camp. Our camp will be held June 23rd-27th and the theme will be "U-Tube, What are you broadcasting? " Ms. Angie has an information sheet and forms for those that are interested. You will also be able to buy a camp shirt for $8.
