BISD will have kindergarten registration on May 7 and May 8th from 9am-2pm each day.

Family Fun Night, April 26 at 4 pm at the Chandler Community Center. There will be hamburgers and hot dogs at $6 for adults and $3 for children. There will also be a silent auction and a dessert auction, as well as crafts and games. The night will be sponsored by the OMBC Relay for Life team.All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Call 286-0056 for more details.

AARP Chapter 1152 of Athens sponsors senior health fair Saturday, April 26 from 9 am to 11 pm at the First United Methodist Church (Activities building) located at 225 Lover's Lane, Athens.

A fairwell fellowship in honor of Bro. Ernest Elliots' retirement will be held on Sunday, April 27 immediately following the morning service at Union Hill Baptist Church. A covered dish luncheon will be served. For more information call 903-852-5043.

LifePoint Fellowship Church is hosting a free family event at Winchester Park in Chandler on Sunday, May 4th from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Hotdogs, cokes, snow cones and live music will all be provided - no charge. There will also be massive inflatables, kickball, face painting, a break dance demonstration, and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. The public is invited. The Brownsboro High School Athletic Booster Club will hold an organizational meeting for the 2008-09 school year on Monday, May 5 at 7pm in the high school cafeteria.

Calvary Baptist will hold a prayer breakfast on the second Saturday of each month with Pastor John Parker. Good food and fellowship, come 8 am, May 10.

BHS Athletic banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 13 in the high school gym at 6:30pm. Tickets are $10 and the meal will be catered by El Presidente of Brownsboro.

Bread of Life Distribution Food Bank on the third Saturday of each month. 8 am - 12 pm. Any volunteers would be accepted and appreciated. Calvalry Baptist hosts this food bank for public awareness.

MOPS will meet from 9:30- 11:30 AM at 1st Assembly in Chandler on May 13. We are out for summer.

A class reunion is being planned for those who attended the Old Chandler High School. It will be held on Saturday, September 20. Chairperson is Jim Powell.

On Saturday, May 3 a community parking lot sale will be held at BHS beginning at 8am. The event is sponsored by FCCLA and proceeds will benefit the organization.
