This Sunday, Bro. Tom spoke to us about our relationship with Christ. He brought to our attention that life is not linear, but a series of twists and turns. He also taught us that life is learned. We learn so much from each experience that we have. Sunday night Bro. Dan Hosch shared with us his ministry, "Overcoming Addictions - The Call to Recovery. " This is a powerful new ministry and we want to support Bro. Dan through prayer that this ministry will touch many lives.

Several of our Leagueville ladies attended the Women's Conference at Rock Hill Baptist Church this past Saturday. Each lady that attended reported that the ladies of Rock Hill did a great job and that the speakers were outstanding. Thanks to the Rock Hill Ladies Group for providing a day of fellowship to the ladies of our community. There is always lots of work behind the scenes at an event of this size and we appreciate the time and prayer that went on before and during the event. Our ladies were blessed!

The Men's Breakfast was held this past Saturday and the men had a great time of fellowship, as always. After the breakfast, the men took some time to help with a few tasks that needed to be done around the church. A big thank you goes out to the men of our church for their service to our church.

Mother's Day is coming soon and we hope that you are making plans to honor your mother this year. Mother's Day is May 11th. Happy Mother's Day to all!

You are invited to share in the joy of Emily Bailey and Todd Epperson as they unite in marriage on Saturday, May 17th at 6pm at Rock Hill Baptist Church. Congratulations to the couple!

Preparations are underway for another year of Church Camp. Camp will be June 23- 27. The theme of Camp this year will be "U-Tube, What are you Broadcasting?" They will also have t-shirts available this year. You will need to pre-order these for the price of $8 each. There will not be shirts available to purchase at camp. Also, there is a signup sheet in the foyer. Please sign up and then take an information sheet to complete. Your $10 deposit is due by May 25th. Camp touches many lives each year and we hope that you will make plans to attend. It is a week not to be missed!
