James Anthony Carter

Services for James Anthony Carter, 58, of Brownsboro were held April 25, 2008 at Eubank Chapel-Canton, with John Carter officiating.

Burial was in Chinquapin Cemetery, Walton.

Mr. Carter passed away April 21, 2008 in Brownsboro. He was born March 11, 1950, in Canton to the late William Cooper and Elva Eleanor Wilson Carter. He was a lifelong resident of the Canton area and attended schools in Martins Mill and Canton. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a truck driver and enjoyed playing music, singing and painting.

Preceding him in death was a brother, David W. Carter. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Carter, Brownsboro; son, James Larry Carter, Grand Saline; daughter, Holly Jones and husband Ernie Aleman, Fruitvale; brother, W. Dan Carter, Killeen; and 2 grandchildren, Kerstin Aleman and Zachery Aleman.
