There were lots of visitors in our morning service this past Sunday. If you were one of our visitors, we want to thank you and we hope that you will visit us again soon. Bro. Tom preached to us about staying close to God and staying clean from sin. Communication with God is one very important part of our relationship with God. He wants to hear from us!

As always, there are many activities planned at LBC. This next Sunday will be Mother's Day. We know that our mothers are all very special and do so much for us. We want to wish each mother a Happy Mother's Day.

Monday, May 12th at 6:30 p.m. will be our Monthly Ladies Meeting. This month's lesson will focus on Mothers and we invite all ladies to attend. There will be finger foods provided after the meeting. This is always a fun time of fellowship. Ladies, please mark your calendars!

You are invited to share in the joy of Emily Bailey and Todd Epperson as they unite in marriage on Saturday, May 17th at 6pm at Rock Hill Baptist Church. Congratulations to the happy couple.

The Youth Group will be hosting a Spaghetti Supper in the gym after Sunday evening services on the 18th of the month. This is a fundraiser to offset the cost of Church Camp. There will be lots of food, fellowship and entertainment. I think we may even see the puppets!

The Singing Bragg Family will be singing for us at our Memorial Day services, Sunday morning, May 25th. We are looking forward to hearing this group sing for us again. They are always a blessing. We hope you will join us as we honor those who have served our country in the Armed Forces.

Sunday evening, May 25th will be the Baccalaureate Services at Brownsboro High School. We hope you will make plans to attend this service for our graduates. We are proud of those students from Leagueville that are graduating high school and making plans for their future. We wish them all the best!

Plans are underway for Church Camp again this year. We always have lots of campers and we want to encourage all campers to sign up early. This is a family camp also, and we welcome families to attend. There are dorms, as well as the motel, for your convenience. There is a deposit of $10 due by May 25th. We are also ordering t-shirts for the price of $8 each. If you need more information, please call the church at 903- 852-7521. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

We want to wish a happy birthday this week to Judy Parker, Alison Owen, and Durward Dingler. We wish a happy anniversary to Dana and Cheryl Dungan. We hope you have a great week as you continue to work on your relationship with Christ.
