Ray Renfro

Memorial services for Ray Renfro, 73, Chandler, were held at 6 p.m. Monday at The Lord's House. Arrangements were under direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Renfro died May 1, 2008, in Tyler.

He was born Nov. 14, 1934, in Tyler to the late Claude and Jean Renfro. He lived in Chandler for 13 years, retired as a paint contractor from Fender Musical, was a licensed sea captain and a member of The Lord's House and REACT Club.

Survivors include sons, Curtis Wayne, Ontario, Canada, Randal Ray, Georgia, Ramond Michael and David Leroy, both of Louisville, Ky., and Daniel Elray, Tyler; daughters, Jennifer Rene Ashley, Diane Saenz and Lisa Rae Lee, all of Tyler; two sisters, 21 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
