Union Hill Baptist

As usual, Brother Bill delivered two wonderful messages on Sunday. Ricky Garner's ministry continues with his music and it was a beautiful message indeed. Immediately after the morning service, the Youth of Union Hill held a barbecue lunch followed by a bake auction. Proceeds will go toward camp expenses.

Speaking of camp, the Youth will be going to camp on July 8th through the 11th. The following week, the preteen camp will be held July 15th through 18th. Pre-teen camp is for fourth through sixth graders. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board, or you may contact Brother Danny.

Sunday evening, June 29th, we have the opportunity to worship together at the Fifth Sunday Community Church Service. This time it will be held at Union Hill. Service starts at 6:00 p.m. with a concert by Ronnie Warren. Following the service, you will be invited to join in an ice cream supper in Fellowship Hall. The Union Hill family is asked to bring homemade ice cream, cookies, brownies, etc. If you do not have an ice cream freezer, store-bought ice cream is yummy too. You are all invited. It will be a great evening.

It's time to gear up for Vacation Bible School to be held August 3rd through 7th at 6:15 each evening. Workers are needed.

There are many areas in which your talents can be used.

The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board.

Also on Sunday, the 29th, remember the baby shower (pink) for Missie Hale. The shower will be held in Fellowship Hall at 3:00 p.m.

Remember to bring, back to church, your filled money cans for the kids as they will be delivered to the Baptist Children's home this weekend.

That's all for this week. To those of you who visited Union Hill last Sunday, we were so pleased to have you worship with us and we invite you back again. We pray that you have a great week and ask that you join us in prayer for those who may not be having such a great one.

Remember, with God, all things are possible and He hears each and every prayer. Don't forget the Community Church service Sunday evening. See you on the hill.
