James C. (Jim) Brown passed away December 24, 2008 at his home in Mabank, Texas. He was born August 18, 1954.

Preceding him in death was his father, John R. Brown of Brownsboro, Texas; his paternal grandparents, Major and Lily Brown of Brownsboro; and his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Katherine Hutchison of Lovell, WY.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Brown of Mabank; his mother, Katherine Hutchison of Alba, Texas; his three sisters, Beverly Walker, Houston, Texas, Jeanne Brown, Athens, Texas, and Sharon Kenas, Springtown, Texas; 29 nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. "We love him dearly, and his memory will be with us always."
