Sheriff's Report
On January 15, 2009, Henderson County Drug Enforcement Unit investigators Ronny Halbert, Jody Miller and Kenneth Collard, led by Sheriff Ray Nutt executed a narcotic search warrant issued by Henderson County Justice of the Peace Pct. 6, Milton K. Adams in the Spring Valley Subdivision near Seven Points, Texas, at the home of Jeremy Jackson.
This raid was a culmination of efforts and a lengthy investigation by the Henderson County Sheriff 's Department with the assistance of Henderson County District Attorney Scott McKee and his office.
During a search of the residence, a large amount of methamphetamine as well as an active methamphetamine lab was located in the residence.
Jackson, who was believed to be one of the main methamphetamine manufacturers and distributors in the Cedar Creek area was arrested along with Roy Johnson, Samantha Anderson, William Kight and owner of the residence, Sandra Taylor. They were all placed under arrest and charged with the offense of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG1 over 400 grams, and transported to the Henderson County Jail.
Also assisting in the raid were Henderson County Sheriff 's Department Major Kevin Hanes, Captain Kay Langford, Lt. Botie Hillhouse along with Henderson County Sheriff 's Department investigators Michael Teel, Michael Shelley, David Faught, Bryan Tower, Sgt. Brad Gray, Deputy Brian Hall, Deputy Charlie Hughes and Deputy Robert Powers.
