Letters to the Editor

Dear Students and Families of Mrs. Jackson,

I am very sorry I felt the need to resign from Brownsboro High School as your English and ESL teacher. Due to the environment of the department, my health and emotional well-being was at risk. I left a handwritten note for all of you on my chalkboard with Mr Howard's approval, but it was erased.

I want you all to know it has been an honor to teach you and have you in class. Please give the next teacher the same chance you gave me and continue to do your best.

To my seniors, please contact me so I can continue to help get you scholarships! Each and every one of you would do well in college; some of you have the ability to be quite famous someday!

To my freshmen, please continue to write your boxes and use your formulas. It will get easier with more practice!

To my ESL students, you are worthy and you are not stupid!

You are smarter than most because you will be able to speak two languages fluently! Do not give up!

Mr. Wooten is doing a great job at the High School; help him succeed!

Always remember to practice, be respectful and always ask questions. The truth will always make itself known! Sincerely, Mrs. Jackson
