SUPERBOWL

One might think a Superbowl is a great football game played every year between the two best football teams of a season. Another view might be in Revelation 5:8. John is describing what he is seeing in a vision: Golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

What does God think of our prayers? It would indicate by this passage that he treasures our prayers greatly. In Bible times, priests often burned incense, a pleasant fragrance offered to God in the temple. As one prayed, the prayers ascending were represented by the smoke of the burning incense. The smoke would carry the prayers to God.

Praying to God is our spiritual communication with him. It is special to us, and we do not need to burn incense to carry our prayers to him. How wonderful it is to know that he treasures each one of our prayers enough to place each one in a golden bowl. What a SUPER-BOWL! by Darian Jones

A SIMPLE PRAYER

Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you For saving my soul. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you For making me whole. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you For all you've done for me. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you For my Family. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you For my good health. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you. Oh, God I thank you For sufficient wealth. Oh, God forgive me. Oh, God forgive me. Oh, God forgive me For all my many sins. Oh, God please help me. Oh, God please help me. Oh, God please help me, Help me make amends. By Dwayne Garner.

WHAT THE BIBLE SHOULD HAVE SAID

It was I that shed His sacred blood; I nailed Him to the tree. I crucified the Son of God; I joined the mockery. I was there when they beat Him. I placed the thorns upon His head. I didn't try to stop them. That's what the Bible should have said. I wasn't there all by myself. It's true. That someone else was YOU! by Katrina Edwards
