Chandler Community Center hosts the Community Men's Prayer Breakfast every Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. Prayers, devotional and music

Brownsboro Junior High will be holding its 3rd annual TAKS Carnival Tuesday, February 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. All Junior High students and their parents are invited. Enjoy games, prizes and a spaghetti supper, all while learning about the upcoming TAKS tests and what it means to you and your child. We hope to see you there!

The Brownsboro Softball League has begun registration for the spring season. Instructional T-Ball for 3-4 year olds and all age divisions through 15 years old. Deadline for registration is February 28. Forms are available at all BISD schools and will also be available at the Old High School Gym mid-morning to late afternoon February 7, as well as during morning hours at the Junior High School Gym February 14, 21 and 28. Concord Baptist Church, of Chandler invites the community to attend our Revival Services Sunday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. Revival Speaker will be Brother David Cason of Abilene's Broadview Baptist Church. The Henderson County Historical Society and the Daniel McMahon Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution will co-sponsor a Genealogy Workshop Saturday, February 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The workshop will be held at Henderson County's Historical Museum Annex, 207 N. Country music at Poynor Civic Center Thursday, February 5. Free Admission. Music from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Frankston Health Care Center will serve a meal from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Anyone who wishes may bring a dessert and donations will be accepted to benefit the FHCC.

CBACC will host a Silent Auction, Banquet and Award Ceremony Thursday, February 5 at the ChandlerCommunity Center beginning at 6:30 p.m. Guest Speaker will be Dr. Stan Copeland. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office. Call 903-849-5930.

Sunday evening March 1, Chandler's Concord Baptist Church will be ordaining Clayton Oliver and Brad Osborne to the office of Deacon. An invitation is extented to sister churches asking for help with an Ordaining Council. The council will meet at 6:00 p.m. for questioning. Refreshments will be served following the service. Registration is now underway for the BMC Youth Foundation's Boy's Baseball and Girl's Softball programs. Registration forms may be picked up at all BISD School offices and at the Chandler City Hall. Registration will continue through February 27, followed by a late registration period ending March 6.
