KBB considers Great American Cleanup
Keep Brownsboro Beautiful, Brownsboro's beautification organization partnered with Keep Texas Beautiful, is gearing up for the annual Great American Cleanup. The Great American Cleanup is one of the largest beautification efforts in the country.
Information about the cleanup came as part of KBB's regular monthly meeting, moved to Monday due to the Chandler/Brownsboro Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet which will take place Thursday. Future KBB meetings will occur on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm.
Charles Cox, president of KBB, said, "The cleanup will go from about 8am to noon. We'll get out there and done before it gets too hot."
The Great American Cleanup will happen on April 4. Brownsboro residents who want to
make a difference in the community that day can come to the Brownsboro Community Center at 8am to help with the cleanup effort.
The group talked about flags for President's Day Weekend. KBB will buy 20 flags to put up in Brownsboro. Those interested may buy flags through KBB to put up in Brownsboro for $20 each. Keep Brownsboro Beautiful will put these flags up as well.
Another event on the horizon is a Fourth of July program, which is still in the works. The next KBB meeting will be March 5 at 7pm in the Brownsboro Community Center.
