Services for Donna Smith, 59, Ben Wheeler, were held Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Hilliard Funeral Home, Van, with the Rev. Shelby Davidson officiating.

Burial was in Dallas/ Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith died January 29, 2009.

Donna Jean Smith was born January 13, 1950, in Jacksonville to Clendon and Dorothy Golemon. She had lived in the area about 25 years. She was vice president of Combined Insurance Agency in Tyler and a member of the Rotary Club. She was preceded in death by her father, Clendon Golemon in 1982.

Survivors include her husband, David Smith of Ben Wheeler; daughter, Kim Frey and husband Lee of Parker; mother, Dot Golemon of Longview; four brothers, Clendon Golemon Jr. and wife Lauren of Longview, Jerry Golemon and wife Becky of Tomball, Rick Golemon and wife Brynne of Chicago, Ill., and Steve Golemon of Longview.
