      On the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time, members of St. Boniface witnessed the commissioning of the Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors that will serve our Church for the next two years. Fr. Luke, during the brief commissioning ritual, challenged them to live up to the privilege of distributing the Body and Blood of Christ and/or proclaiming the Word as Lectors.

      The big event at the church this past weekend was Bill and Joyce Martin's 50th wedding celebration. Their children and families did a great job of decorating the church. One of their sons officiated at their vow renewal and Joyce and Bill even wrote their own poems to share with each other.
