ONE BY ONE One by one we are going to our eternal home To live with Christ our Saviour Never more to roam. We'll meet again our loved ones And take them by the hand, And sing redemption story In that sweet happy land. Our Christ who died to save us Will meet us in the sky, Where there will be no parting No one will ever die. by Irene Robertson (Submitted by L. Epperson)IT SHOWS IN THE FACE You don't have to tell how you live each day, You don't have to tell if you work or play. A tried and true barometer serves in its place; However you live, it shows in the face. The false, the deceit that you bear in your heart, Will not stay inside where it first got a start. For sinew and blood are a thin veil of lace, What you wear in your heart, you wear in your face. If your life is unselfish, and for others you live, For not what you get but how much you can give. If you live close to God and His infinite grace, You don't have to tell it, it shows in the face. -Author unknownSPIRITUAL BAILOUT A bailout seems to be what everyone is looking for in today's time. A bailout to clear mistakes of the past, or errors in judgment, without consideration of the future or the consequences that they may bring to one's situation. II Corinthians 7:9-11 tells us about the Corinthian believers who had sorrow that led to repentance. Repentance is turning from our sins toward God. God does not approve of our sins; when we sin we are putting our sins between God and us. Sin separates us from God. All sins, no matter how major or minor are still sin. Therefore, to bring us closer to God, we must seek repentance - a true turning from our sins to God. God searches our hearts and sees our desires. What a wonderful bailout plan from God! We are undeserving of His grace, yet we can seek repentance from our sins. by Darian Jones DON'T CRY FOR ME Goodbye, my friends, don't be sad; I'm going Home, and I'm so glad. No more pain, or grief to bear, Just lots of love and tender care. I hope to see you all up there. Goodbye, goodbye, I'm going Home. by Katrina Edwards |
