Services for Mrs. Alice "Vivian" Birdwell, 97, Chandler, will be held Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Chandler with Rev. Byron Allen Jr. officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Birdwell passed away January 31, 2009 in Chandler, Texas.

She was born July 1, 1911 in Sydney, Montana. She had lived in the Chandler area since 1995, coming from Kansas City, MO. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Chandler.

Survivors are sons, Walter Blake Birdwell of Houston, Texas and Thomas Birdwell of Chandler, Texas; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.
