A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Tommie Mayback, 85, Edom, is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Friday, February 13, at Edom City Limits, 1 and 1/2 miles west of Edom on FM 279, with James Golden officiating. All friends are invited.

Mrs. Mayback died February 8, 2009, at her home.

Tommie Mayback was born December 9, 1923 in Jasper, Alabama to the late Temon T. and Allie Powell. She had lived in Edom for about 23 years, moving from Hallsville. She was a member of Lifepoint Fellowship Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Mayback in 1988.

Survivors include her daughter, Robin Marshall and husband Randy of Edom; grandchildren, Shane Yaun of Plano and Mickey Marshall of Lubbock; and great-grandchild, Cathan Yaun of Plano.
