Services for Mr. Charles Ray Hill, 73, Chandler, were held Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Chandler.

Burial followed in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Hill passed away February 12, 2009 in Tyler, Texas. He was born March 5, 1935 in Levelland, Texas. He was a 1953 graduate of Lorenzo High School, Lorenzo, Texas. He was a member of First Assembly of God, Chandler, and was self-employed.

Preceding Mr. Hill in death were his wife, Bobbie Dean Hill; parents, Ross and Della Hill; step-son, Dondi Fender; and a daughter, Janet Hill Dean.

Survivors include son, Glen Ray Hill of Greenville, Texas, step-son Kenneth Fender of Martin Springs, Texas, step-son Gerald Vaughn; step-daughter, Deana Murphy of Chandler; brother, George Hill of Arizona; sisters, Joyce Hill of Colorado, Juanita Collier of Dell City, Texas, Beverly Banks of Lubbock, and Kathy Howell of Odessa; and 9 grandchildren.
