Graveside service for Julie A. VanDerMeer, 72, of Murchison, was held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Asbury Cemetery in Murchison with Mr. Steve Hayes officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, in a Tyler hospital. Julie was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Torrington, Wyoming, the daughter of William and Katherine Schuabauer Henglefelt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Henglefelt. Survivors are husband, Ed VanDerMeer of Murchison; son, Curtis Duff of Centennial, Colorado; daughter, Sandra Gilbert and husband Jeffrey of Las Vegas, Nevada; and one grandchild.
