Women's conference announced
Rock Hill Baptist Church invites women in the community to their annual Women's Conference on Saturday, April 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. with continental breakfast.
This year's conference, "A Bridal Affair" - Becoming the Bride of Christ, sets the tone for delving into the deeper truths of becoming the bride of Christ in today's world and what that means for Christian women. Women of any age are welcome, from teens to seniors.
Deborah Harter, Sister Friends Ministry in Tyler, owner of Sterling Grace Jewelry will be the keynote speaker. Joining her will be worship leaders, Shelly Wilson and Kerri Crocker, who will lift our spirits through song. Two of these exceptional women are cancer survivors and one daily struggles with fibromyalgia. Each of these women has a tremendous testimony of how the strength of the Lord has helped them, guided them, and saved them. Their witness, teaching and music will surely touch your heart.
Last year's conference was a great success with over 120 ladies attending. The desire of the Women for Christ Ministries at RHBC is to reinforce and strengthen our faith in Christ. A women's conference is a great way to receive encouragement and have fellowship with other women who may be struggling in their walk with Christ. If you desire to be refueled and filled with the Spirit, or to know Him for the first time, this conference is for you.
Make plans now to attend. The $10.00 registration fee includes the conference, continental breakfast and lunch. Sorry, no child care will be available. Registration deadline: April 4, 2009. Additional information regarding directions, printable posters and registration forms can be found on our church website: www.rockhilltexas.com or email rockhillwomen@aol.com or you may call Stephanie Ballard, 903- 852-6128.
Whether your faith is firmly rooted, or you're not where you should be in your relationship with Jesus, you can draw closer to Him. Your presence is requested. Invite a friend or come as a group! Everyone is welcome at Rock Hill Baptist Church.
