Breaking Bread Ministry holds meal for May 2

The Leagueville Baptist Church will serve a meal from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2.

The meal is part of the Breaking Bread Ministry at the church. Fellowship will follow the meal, which will be open to the public.

Alliance hosts 'Day of Prayer' on May 7

The Chandler Ministerial Alliance will host the National Day of Prayer at noon Thursday, May 7, at Winchester Park in Chandler.

This year's theme is "Prayer Under The Flag."

Lake council's annual meeting is Saturday

The Greater Lake Palestine Council's Annual Meeting will take place at the Wildwood Community Center in Chandler, 11:00 a.m Saturday, April 25. Everyone is invited to come for the meeting and to enjoy a great bar-b-que lunch for $6 per plate. We serve the community through you.

Benefit sale for local community is Saturday

There will be a Garage and Bake Sale benefiting the local community Saturday. April 25 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hickory Hills at Callender Lake. Come and find some good bargains.

Elementary has Spring Fling for tomorrow

Deadline for GOP scholarship is Saturday

Lions Club meets first and third Tuesday

The Chandler Lions Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month in the Chandler Community Center at 7pm. Meetings consist of dinner, meeting and a program. Anyone interested in giving back to the community through the Lions organization is invited to attend.
