Thanks to volunteers

Thanks be to God and all His angels, I am now settled in my new "Miracle Home."

Several months ago I was facing a situation of having to get out of my house that had been home for 40 years, because of it needing so many repairs.

I prayed a long time for what I wanted God to do for me. I finally realized I was being selfish. I started praying that not my will, Lord, but thine. I surrendered to Him and things started happening. You see, I wanted to stay here on this one-acre I've lived on all these years. I thought I would surely have to move.

I was approached one day by a few family and friends that they would like to build me a house. On August 14 the foundation was poured. I still have my little crying spells of joy when I think of the ones that started this project and all others that came forward to put their love and expertise into building me a home.

God is still in control! I guess I was kinda like a doubting Thomas, I just couldn't see how this could all come about. It did, because "with God all things are possible."

I'm sure I will never know all the people who gave to the building fund; those who gave of the building materials and the volunteers who worked so hard to get me in my "Miracle Home." I can never thank you enough. This town of Brownsboro and all the surrounding areas, I Thank You!!

May God bless you all.

Love, Alice Beeson
