Tick-Tock Says the Clock!

We lost another hour today ...

Some muckety-mucks in Washington

Decided to while away our days,

With an hour here, an hour there ...

Something about saving energy ...

By changing our clocks,

Moved one hour ahead

Three weeks before the usual time

"Spring ahead"

And postponed by two more weeks

"Fall back" time.

Now, my microwave is on the fritz,

My telephone alarm clock goes whitz,

This computer thinks it's been blitz'd,

And the VCR is bewitch'd.

But, my belly knows what time it is

Without the assistance of any man-made clock.

Hungry is hungry, three times a day!

I am as regular as the cock that crows

At the start of day ...

I wake up hungry every day!
