Services for Clifford Thomas Dickerson, 86, of Brownsboro, were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Faith Baptist Church of Brownsboro, Texas, with Rev. Darin Watson and Rev. J.D. Johnston officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Burial was in Edom Cemetery.

He passed away June 4, 2009, in Tyler. Mr. Dickerson was born February 17, 1923, in Grand Saline, Texas, to Arthur Thomas and Jessie Bell Collier Dickerson.

He was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Brownsboro. He was married 63 years to his precious wife, Wanda. He loved his work and his garden and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a 50-year member of the Brownsboro Masonic Lodge.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Lisa Smith.

Surviving are his wife, Wanda Dickerson of Brownsboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Bobby Smith, Brownsboro and Janet and Gary Costlow of Chandler; sister, Modene Brewer of Fort Worth; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Cliff Smith, Ryan Smith, Phillip Smith, Chad Worner, Steven Hansen.
