Luther "Jack" Boggs, 80, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, after a long battle with illnesses. Memorial services were Friday, June 12, at Lake Palestine United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Leann; four children, Jack Boggs III, Kevin Boggs, Buddy Jennings and Virginia Iszard; and eight grandchildren.
