Chandler woman arrested for possession

A Chandler woman could not evade Henderson County deputies by hiding in a vehicle.

Henderson County Deputy Cliff Arnold attempted to locate Char- ity Miley, 29, for an outstanding arrest warrant for theft Wednesday, June 24, on Wild Wood Drive in the Wild Wood subdivision in Chandler, according to Henderson County Sheriff Ray Nutt.

Miley was located hiding in a vehicle and a subsequent search of her property yielded methamphetamine. In addition to the outstanding warrant for motion to adjudicate guilt for theft of property, Miley also was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram.

She was transported to the Henderson County Jail for processing.
