There are no problems with the Chandler water.

Due to a power outage Sunday, June 28, the Chandler water treatment plant was temporarily shut down.

As required by state law, Chandler city officials reported the matter and instituted a boil water notice for customers until the water tested according to state standards.

According to Chandler City Manager Jim Moffeit, treatment plant officials provided test results to have the boil water notice lifted by early Tuesday, June 30.

"There's nothing wrong with the water," Moffeit said. "We ran the test and everything tested perfectly."

Moffeit said he did not know why the power failed.
