Bears program ads on sale

Advertisemenspaces are now on sale for the 2009- 2010 Brownsboro Bear Football Program. Those who wish to purchase an ad for an athlete or business can contact any varsity cheerleader for a form.

Band plays tonight

The Tyler Community Band will perform its annual "Celebrate America" concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 2 at The University of Texas at Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Works by John Philip Sousa, John Williams, Meredith Wilson, and others, will be performed at the public concert. For more information, contact Hannah Buchanan at (903) 565-5769.

Dems meet on July 21

The Lake Area Democrats Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Lake Ridge RV Park, 301 W. Main, Gun Barrel City.

Concert is tonight

Country Music at Poynor Civic Center is slated for Thursday, July 2. Admission will be free.

The Frankston Health Care Center will prepare a meal that will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Donations for the food will benefit the residents of Frankston Healthcare Center. Anyone who wishes, may bring a dessert. Music will be from 6:30 to 9p.m. (open mic).
